Thoughts From John 3:18-19

“He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. [19] And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
John 3:18-19 NKJV

When John used the phrase “believes in Him” it means more than just saying “Jesus is real.” This kind of belief includes committing your life to Christ and putting your trust in His salvation.

Each and every person in this world must make such a decision. Each and every person in this world must choose between light and darkness, between serving God and serving self. Sadly, some people do choose darkness. Some people do choose themselves over their Creator.

Folks, that’s their choice. No one can make this decision for someone else. Parents cannot make their kids choose Jesus. Church leaders cannot get church members to heaven. And you will not be able to make this decision for your friends or loved ones. You are called to share the gospel with people, to present it in a way that makes the truth clear through both actions and language. The rest is between each individual and God.
