Thanksgiving is here and while everyone is getting caught up in the frantic rush of shopping, cooking for the family, parties, and other distractions, we need to take a pause today to carefully consider what Thanksgiving is.
Thanksgiving or Thanksgiving Day, is our annual fall holiday here in the United States, and it is related to harvest festivals that were traditionally celebrated in Europe. It is a day when as a nation, we celebrate and give thanks to Almighty God for His many blessings.
Today as I do everyday, I am thanking God for His every blessing, that He cares and provides for my needs, for His never ending love, and I will thank and praise God for His priceless gift He gave us, His own beloved Son, Jesus.
