“Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.”
James 4:17 NKJV

“Let’s say, you see someone carrying a large bag of groceries. Their bag tears and their groceries fall onto the ground, with some of them rolling all around.

You know that you should stop and help them, but you have somewhere to go and don’t want to stop, so you go on by. Since they didn’t see you, can’t you get away without helping?

Folks, as believers, we know what is right, and because of this knowledge, we will be held to a higher standard. Sometimes, we don’t sin by doing but by not doing.

Remember, we should always be on the lookout for the work that God wants us to do. We need to be open to, and obedient to, the voice of the Holy Spirit as He leads us.
