Thoughts From Mark 1:15

“The time promised by God has come at last!” he announced. “The Kingdom of God is near! Repent of your sins and believe the Good News!”
Mark 1:15 NLT

At the very beginning of his ministry on earth, Jesus said, “The time has come.” He had arrived. The world as people knew it was about to be changed forever, and they would need to take action. People needed to repent and believe the Gospel.

Folks, there’s more to believing than lip service. Believe is an action verb. Belief in Jesus has to affect the way that we live, or it’s not sincere. Jesus asks us to repent and to believe in the gospel. This means that we need to accept Him as our Savior and give our lives to Him. It means we must submit to His will for our lives. It means we must follow His lead at all costs.

Worshiping Jesus should affect every aspect of our lives in every possible way. None of this is easy. None of this is simple. But when we do it, life changes for the better. We become a healthier person filled with joy and peace, knowing that whatever this world throws at us, we will be ok.
