Today’s Scripture
“By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.”
Hebrews 11:3 NLT
As I read that verse it brought back a memory. Amazing how the Holy Spirit does that! I was sitting in Biology class my sophomore year at Owensville High School and the next chapter in our text books was the theory of evolution. Our teacher look at us and asked “Do you believe in God? Every one raised their hand. Then she asked “Does everyone believe that God created the world and everything in it?” Again, we all raised our hands. She said ” Well, that settles that, I’m not going to fill your minds with what goes against the teachings of God! We went on to the next chapter. I still don’t know much about the theory of evolution. But I don’t care about that. I believe what God says and that’s that! You all have a great day!
