Psalm Challenge ‐ Day 13

Good Morning! How is everyone this beautiful morning that God made for us? If you really think about it God made everything in this world for us and has given us everything we need. He is even walking or carry us when we are at our lowest. We should be praising Him for everything and crying out to Him when we need Him. King David realized that and that is what the Psalms are all about. Today is day 13 of our Psalm Challenge, chapters 61 through 65. As you read through our Psalm Challenge let’s be like David and be after God’s own heart. Here are the verses that stood out for me today.

Psalm 61:1-3 NLT
O God, listen to my cry! Hear my prayer! [2] From the ends of the earth, I cry to you for help when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the towering rock of safety, [3] for you are my safe refuge, a fortress where my enemies cannot reach me.

Psalm 62:1-2 NLT
I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from him. [2] He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will never be shaken.

Psalm 62:5-6 NLT
[5] Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him. [6] He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken.

Psalm 62:8 NLT
[8] O my people, trust in him at all times. Pour out your heart to him, for God is our refuge.

Psalm 64:10 NLT
The godly will rejoice in the LORD and find shelter in him. And those who do what is right will praise him.

Psalm 65:5 NLT
You faithfully answer our prayers with awesome deeds, O God our savior. You are the hope of everyone on earth, even those who sail on distant seas.
