Psalm 50:14-15 NLT
[14] Make thankfulness your sacrifice to God, and keep the vows you made to the Most High. [15] Then call on me when you are in trouble, and I will rescue you, and you will give me glory.”
These two verses sums up how God wants us to live. “Make thankfulness your sacrifice to God”, God wants us to have a thankful heart and thank Him for everything. Yes, everything whether good or bad. Yes, even the bad! When we are going through troublous times we are being watch by others and they see how our faith in God gets us through, how we He gives us joy and peace. And when we “keep the vows you made” by living a holy life, that is what brings glory to God! Folks, we need to remember that the only sermon some will ever hear or see is our lifestyle. Our lifestyle should pattern our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ’s life.
