Psalm Challenge – Day 6

Good Morning! Today is day 6 of our Psalm Challenge. Sorry about missing posting last couple days, I did read the Psalms for those days. At times, I think on the verses we read during the day. I usually post first thing in the morning, so when I do ponder the verse for awhile during day I forget that I didn’t post. I’ll try to do better about remembering. Our chapters today are chapters 26 through 30. Below are the verses that I highlighted over the years. Ya’ll have a great day!

Psalm 26:1 NLT
Declare me innocent, O LORD, for I have acted with integrity; I have trusted in the LORD without wavering.

Psalm 27:1 NLT
The LORD is my light and my salvation- so why should I be afraid? The LORD is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?

Psalm 27:14 NLT
Wait patiently for the LORD. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the LORD.

Psalm 28:7 NLT
The LORD is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.

Psalm 29:11 NLT
The LORD gives his people strength. The LORD blesses them with peace.

  1. In reply to Psalm 29:11, Yes we do need the strength and peace that only God can give to handle whatever this old sinful can throw at us. We just need to lay everything at the foot of the cross and let God be God.
