Bible Reading 27 Apr 2020

Good Morning! With today’s reading of chapters 27 and 28 we finish the book of Acts. You guys are doing a great job in your daily readings. Today we see that Paul sets sail for Rome, encounters a storm and is shipwrecked on the island of Melita, which is modern day Malta. Paul builds a fire and is bitten by a venomous snake and is not harmed. The people were amazed that Paul didn’t get sick or die. Paul heals the chief official’s father, then as usual many came to Paul for healing. Three months later Paul arrives in Rome and for two years under guard living in his own place boldly proclaiming the Kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ. Did you notice in the last chapter of Acts the last words of the book…”And no one tried to stop him.”
